Our latest original production, Entrapping Our Abundance, is fast approaching, and we’re currently hiring for its production crew.
The latest professional production from Wise Fool, Entrapping Our Abundance is a circus-focused show that explores the climate crisis we are experiencing in the Southwest. Through a small group of talented circus artists, we’ll create a vehicle to communicate the expansiveness of the environmental disruption in the region from massive wildfires, water shortages, and the greed for natural resources that continuously infringe on native lands.
Entrapping Our Abundance is directed by Pamela Donohoo, an artistic director, choreographer, and international performing artist. She has worked with performing arts organizations throughout the US and internationally, having done commercials, live television, award shows, large-scale events, spectacular acrobatic shows, and film.
The performance and rehearsals will take place in Santa Fe, with shows April 16-19.
Open positions to support the show
Here is your chance to help us bring this show to life working behind the scenes! We’re building a strong, collaborative production team and are now seeking:
Stage Manager
The organizational backbone of the production. The Stage Manager works closely with the director and performers throughout rehearsals and performances—tracking blocking, managing schedules, coordinating communication, leading rehearsals when needed, and calling cues to ensure every show runs smoothly and safely from start to finish.
Lighting Director
Design and execute the lighting environment that supports the visual storytelling of the show. This role collaborates with the director and rigging team to create dynamic looks for our circus acts, light our 20’ Flexion truss, oversee installation and programming, and run cues during performances.
Sound Director
Shape the sonic world of the production. The Sound Director is responsible for building and balancing the soundscape, managing playback systems, and running live audio cues to support performers, atmosphere, and audience experience.

Volunteer To Help us prep for rehearsals
Not sure the positions above are right for you, but still wanting to help out? We’re looking for a few individuals to help us move our Flexion Truss from its storage location to the stage. We’re looking for 3-5 volunteers on Tuesday, March 10, at 12pm. The ability to lift heavy objects is required—if you have a pickup truck you could lend to the cause, even better. We will be moving the truss from the shipping container outside our studio to the stage on the other side of the building, and expect the process to take roughly 90 minutes. Volunteers can use this as a Work–Trade opportunity and receive $30 in credit added to their TeamUp account to use towards a future class or membership.
