Donate goods, supplies, or professional services to Wise Fool. From costumes to equipment, or specialized expertise, your in-kind gifts reduce our expenses and make it possible for us to focus resources on our programs.

Supply & Equipment Donations

We are grateful for donations that can be used directly in our classes, camps, and productions.

We Accept

  • Arts & craft supplies (paint, paper, markers, pencils, etc.)
  • Children’s books and board games
  • Juggling props (balls, clubs, etc.)
  • Snacks for programs and events
  • Professional services, including translation/interpretation, legal services, etc

Not Accepted

  • Worn, damaged, or aging circus equipment
  • Aerial rigging hardware (spansets, carabiners, quicklinks, etc)
  • Aerial equipment without verifiable purchase date
  • Items that do not meet our safety standards

Approval Required

Safety is an essential part of circus, especially for high-risk disciplines. The following items must meet strict guidelines and require prior approval before donation:

  • ALL Aerial Apparatuses, Stilts, or Unicycles: Proof of original purchase required. Must include vendor and manufacture date.
  • Aerial Fabrics, Ropes: Must show NO signs of wear – no pinholes, runs, rips, tears, discoloration, frays, bunching, or other damage. Must be less than 3 years old.
  • Trapezes: Only static or dance trapezes accepted, no Flying trapezes. Ropes subject to same condition/age requirements as Aerial Ropes. No visible signs of wear on bar or hardware attachment points.
  • Lyra: No aluminum, steel construction only. Tabless preferred, no visible signs of wear on tabs accepted.
  • Stilts: Structurally sound with secure foot and calf attachments, designed for circus or performing arts (no drywall stilts)
  • Unicycles: Frame and wheel are straight/true with no deformation. Spokes and pedals intact.

How Services Are Used

Contributed services may support the accessibility of our programs, production development, studio operations and safety systems, administrative support, or general outreach.

All professional service donations are reviewed in advance to ensure they align with current organizational needs and capacity.

Wise Fool New Mexico can provide donation receipts for in-kind gifts upon request. We are able to acknowledge contributions by using the donated item’s Fair Market Value (FMV) in accordance with IRS guidelines.
