Stargazers: Reimagined is a love letter to trans youth. Following a narrative set in the Y2K era, when gender-affirming care was absent for youth, this show tells the story of that harm and dreams of a better future.

Come see circus acts that fly higher than the politics trying to erase trans identities, both then and now. Written by Kim Gryphon and directed by Amaya Alvarado, this show stirs emotions and creates spaces for queer imaginations to soar.

Kim Gryphon, writer of Stargazers, said “I dreamed this show in response to Trump’s present-day attack on the existence of trans youth. To me, this politics of erasure is nothing new because it is something I also experienced in my life as a queer teenager. I want to tell this story because it is my story, and I hope that it can give hope to queer and trans youth today. We want to say: we see you, and we love you.”

Stargazers Reimagined takes place at the Wise Fool on Saturday, June 13th. Doors open at 7:00 PM, with the show starting at 7:30 PM. ASL interpretation is available upon request only.
