Matched Donations Progress Update

While Wise Fool’s presence feels BIG in our community, we’re actually considered a small nonprofit. As funding becomes more uncertain nationwide, organizations like ours rely on something even more powerful: community support. We exist because people are choosing to invest in our work. Every class, scholarship, and performance would not grace our studio without them. And in order to make all of our programs happen, we rely on donations.

When folks think about fundraising, usually construction projects or new equipment comes to mind. Don’t get us wrong, we love seeing the progress of our studio evolving as much as anyone. We’ve been busy upgrading our flooring, and our shipping container has gotten a fresh coat of paint with a mural unveiling on the way. We also discovered a little critter making its home there!

But the truth is that supporting our operational expenses is what really keeps everything running here at Wise Fool. It helps us pay coaches, keep the lights on, cover insurance costs, and supports free and low-cost community programs.

What does your gift support?

We’re about to enter one of the busiest times of the year for our little studio – Summer Camp Season! This is when our schedule fills up Monday through Friday with ages ranging from 4 – 18, all learning more about the capabilities of their bodies through circus.

Here are some tangible ways that your support benefits our upcoming Summer Camp programs! I know we’re sounding like broken records here, but we can’t overstate the importance of our matching donor effectively doubling the amount of your donation.

$15 → $30 = 1 Hour of Wee Kids Summer Camp
$25 → $50 = 1 Week of Snacks for Campers
$50 → $100 = 1 Day of Kids Summer Camp
$385 → $770 = 2 Weeks of Kids Summer Camp

We’re in the home stretch, and working to bridge the final $15,000 needed to meet our matching fundraising goal. Remember, all funds are being matched by an anonymous donor – so your donation goes twice as far!
