Save the date for our final show
Winter Cabaret 2024
It has been a tumultuous year, for sure, but we have decided to commit ourselves to a final encore in our Siler Studio, and will be hosting our Winter Cabaret to celebrate the community. We’re saving the date for December 21st and 22nd, one show each day.
We may also be planning some additional fundraising events around the cabaret weekend.
We are still deciding on theme, but please know we will welcome any and all ideas you have for acts. We know this is a little later notice than usual for planning, but we’d really love to showcase you all one last time, so any past acts, anything you’re currently workshopping, any playful explorations, let’s get them on the stage!!
Call For Acts
We are currently taking submissions in all disciplines: aerials, acrobatics, clowning, experimental movement, juggling, unicycling, dance, poi, surprise us!
To submit, please send the following info to Amelia (amelia@wisefoolnm.org):
- a brief description of your act
- an estimated duration (acts can be up to 7 minutes),
- a bio (for our MC to introduce you),
- social handles (instagram, website, etc), if you want, and
- which show time (any combination of the 3 times) you want to perform in
As a bonus, please be thinking about support needed on stage, including:
- rigging needs
- lighting
- music
- equipment
Submission Deadline: December 2nd, Monday
Tech Rehearsal: December 20th, 5-8pm, Friday
Performance: December 21st, 6pm, & December 22nd, 4pm
We are so grateful that you all have been part of our community and can’t wait to put together a Cabaret that this town will be talking about for years to come!!
