Youth Programs, Performances & What's Next!
Dear Wise Fool Community,
The start of 2025 brought a huge shift for Wise Fool. After more than a decade in our beloved space, our staff and community came together to tackle the immense task of moving out. While the hardest part, the physical move, is behind us, the challenges aren’t over.
With just three of us on the admin team, we’ve been working closely with our board to reflect on what truly matters and how to carry Wise Fool’s values forward. Without a space to call our own, we’ve been craving that deep sense of community—a place where we can come together, train, and bond over the beauty of circus. Finding a venue in Santa Fe that meets our needs has been difficult, making it hard to offer all the beloved programming Wise Fool is known for.
But even with these limits and as we navigate this next chapter, we’re excited to share what’s ahead and how we’re keeping the magic alive!
Youth Programming & The Traveling Circus Model
Our youth programs are thriving! We are currently offering classes at the Santa Fe Children’s Museum and Teatro Paraguas, and have launched a partnership with NDI Albuquerque where we just wrapped up a successful spring break camp. Additionally, we are expanding our partnerships with Girls Inc. and Desert Montessori School, where we will be offering both afterschool and summer programming.
We’re always looking to expand our outreach programming, so if you’d like to bring circus workshops or performances to your school or special event, let’s connect!
Exciting Collaboration: WFNM × The Mountain Center
Wise Fool will be bringing the magic of circus to The Mountain Center‘s monthly gathering event for queer teens, youth, and families on May 1!
This event features rock climbing, nail painting, low sensory zones, and games. Adding circus to this space will hopefully set the stage for regular collaborations and sharing of resources between these two amazing communities of young people and the adults that support them.

Seeking Spaces for Adult Training & Performances
We are actively looking for locations to host adult training and cabaret performances, particularly spaces with:
✔ High ceilings for aerials (minimum of 19’)
✔ Rigging capabilities (exposed structural I-beams) or the ability to support a portable rig
✔ A stage or open performance area suitable for our cabaret shows
Finding a space where we can train, perform, and bring our community together is essential to keeping Wise Fool’s magic alive. If you know of a space that might work, we’d love your recommendations!

Event Entertainment – We’re Still Performing!
Looking for stilt walkers, jugglers, aerialists, or roving performers for your event? Wise Fool is still booking entertainment for festivals, corporate events, and community gatherings!
