Our next session of adult programs starts next week!

Our new schedule starts next week! Have you decided what classes you’re taking yet?
We’ve got aerial fabrics classes for all levels—from intro through continuing—on the calendar, along with foundational classes in rope, lyra, and trapeze so you can keep building on those intro skills.
Plus, discover new ways to move and get in touch with you body with the return of Kat’s Movement Play & Explorations class, and build strength to support your circus practice with Daniel’s Flight Lab for all levels.
While having a break has been much needed, we’re excited to be back in the studio and in the air with you all soon! Here’s a look at the full schedule:

Static Trapeze – Foundational

Build on your foundation of Static Trapeze! You’ll develop body awareness and strength through beginner poses, balances, and transitions around the bar and ropes. The focus is on proper technique, building endurance, and beginning to link movements together.
Welcoming to all body sizes, genders, and fitness levels. Open to ages 13 and up.
Aerial Rope – Foundational
Thursday 5:45 – 7:15 PM, with Daniel
Prerequisites: Comfortable climbing at least one full body length, hanging with straight arms for 10-15 seconds, and performing any type of inversion from the mat.
Aerial Rope, also known as Corde Lisse, is a classic yet highly creatively adaptable aerial apparatus. The simplicity of the single hanging rope allows for dynamic movements and drops, leveraging momentum from swinging beats. The rope is a much stiffer apparatus than fabric, able to be manipulated with hands, feet, and toes into wraps and slipknots the aerialist can suspend themselves from. The diversity of creative options for choreography can be paired with the immense physical demands needed to achieve iconic skills – making this discipline particularly deep and fun to explore.
Welcoming to all body sizes and genders. Open to ages 13 and up.
Lyra – Foundational
Sunday 11 – 12:30 PM, with Lisa
Prerequisites: Familiarity with mounting the hoop, seated poses, under-the-bar movement, and supported hangs.
Build on your foundation of Lyra, or Aerial Hoop! You’ll expand on lyra vocabulary, basic shapes and transitions, explore movement in and around the hoop, and conditioning exercises to support more complex skills later on.
Welcoming to all body sizes, genders, and fitness levels. Open to ages 13 and up.
Flight Lab – Applied Strengthening (All Levels)
Sunday 12:45– 2:15 PM, with Daniel
Prerequisites: Experience with at least one intro level aerial class. Welcoming to all body sizes, genders, and fitness levels.
This circuit-based aerial conditioning class blends floor and on-apparatus aerial training to instill students with the strength, technique, and confidence to complete more physically demanding movement patterns in aerials and acrobatics. Students rotate through exercise stations on a variety of aerial apparatuses emphasizing core stabilization, upper body strength, and back-body engagement. These exercises are meant to foster a sustainable aerial practice, guard against injury, and help to access more demanding aerial skills.
Open to all levels, as long as you’ve taken at least one aerial class, with options to challenge each participant at their own pace.
Intro to Aerial Fabrics Series
Sunday 6 – 7:30 PM, with Hannah
Prerequisites: None! Open to all abilities and body types
Begin your aerial fabrics journey with this 8-week series. We’ll work on technical skills and aerial creativity week by week, adding on to what we learned the previous session. Students will learn the basics of climbing, inverting, and footlocks, while starting to build small sequences and finding their inner aerialist’s creative voice. And of course we’ll have plenty of fun while building strength and community too!
