By sponsoring this event, you’ll be supporting Wise Fool through our transition into a new chapter. In January of this year, we moved out of the building on Siler Rd that we had called home for close to a decade following a no-fault eviction that left inadequate time to secure a suitable replacement studio. We have since returned to our origins as a “Traveling Circus” model, reconnecting with the heart of our mission to be in direct relationship with the community. By using this challenge as an opportunity to deepen our partnerships with schools, nonprofits, and cultural centers, we have since started offering our youth programs through collaborations with local partner organizations including Santa Fe Children’s Museum, Teatro Paraguas, Desert Montessori, and NDI.

The absence of a dedicated training facility has led to several adverse effects: increased storage costs for essential equipment, heightened transportation demands for staff, and the loss of a community gathering space that once served as a cultural hub. Additionally, the inability to hold any regular studio classes has resulted in a significant loss of income, undermining Wise Fool’s financial stability. To support this transition, Wise Fool has created a Seed Fund to help finance the move and fund renovations for its eventual future home, including state-of-the-art aerial rigging. This fund will be instrumental in easing the financial burden of transitioning back into a permanent space.
