Fundraising Event
First Friday Pottery Throw-Down
September 6 from 5-8pm
Date: September 6 from 6-8PM
Address: Paseo Pottery – 1273 Calle de Comercio, Santa Fe, NM
Cost: $25 per person
Wise Fool is being celebrated by Paseo Pottery as their nonprofit for the month of September, and we are honored to be participating in their First Friday Pottery Throw-Down.
We’ll be using this as an opportunity to give Kristen, our former Co-Executive Director & Studio Manager, the send-off she deserves!
There will be live pottery demos, libations and music while Paseo Pottery’s teachers strut their stuff on the wheels. Come try your hand at the potter’s wheel. While you’re here, sign up for a class and stock up on hand-made local pottery knowing your dollars will go to a great cause.
Attendees are welcome to grab any open wheel to try their hand at making pottery with the help of volunteers. At the end of the evening, any pottery pieces that are deemed worthy will be glazed, fired, and sold in their gallery, going toward Paseo Pottery’s charitable mission.
All proceeds from the event will be donated to Wise Fool, which are vital funds to us in light of our pending eviction!
