Giving Tuesday is Coming
December 2, 2025
Giving Tuesday is a global day of generosity that takes place each year on the Tuesday after Thanksgiving. It’s a moment for individuals, families, and communities to support causes they care about, from local nonprofits to global initiatives. Unlike Black Friday or Cyber Monday, which focus on capitalism and shopping, Giving Tuesday is all about giving BACK. That can be through donations, volunteering, or spreading the word about a mission you believe in.
At Wise Fool, we participate in Giving Tuesday to raise crucial funds for our studio, programs, and community support, helping ensure circus arts remain accessible and thriving for everyone.
How To Support Wise Fool
- Give a Donation for Giving tuesday to help keep programs and operations running
- Dedicate your gift to a coach as part of our Coach Fundraising Drive
- Support a specific renovation Project Fund
- Share our mission - tell your friends and family about us
- Be a part of our community by attending classes, performances, or volunteering
Where Your Support Goes
Operational Support
Let’s talk about operational support – one of the most important (and least understood) aspects of our organization that we’re fundraising for this fall.
When you give to Wise Fool, you are aiding us in covering the behind-the-scenes essentials that make our classes, performances, and community programs possible. Remember, we’re a nonprofit, so by nature our program revenue isn’t enough to lift our entire organization.
Operational support funds:
🏠 Rent, utilities, and studio upkeep
💻 Staff who organize programs, communications, and community events
🎪 Equipment, rigging, and safety systems
🤝 Planning and resources that help us grow and serve more people with low-cost offerings
These are the things that help us exist – and let us expand our reach.
Renovation Project Funds
In the spirit of the upcoming Giving Tuesday, we’re launching special Project Funds for some of the renovation we are working towards!
Each Project Fund supports a specific project – from paint, to mirrors, to our recently-installed aerial truss. If you’ve been interested in donating but want to make sure your gift goes directly towards a part of our studio, this is for you.
🎨 Fresh Paint: A fresh coat of paint for the studio’s interior, as well as a mural project to make the space ours
🪞 Mirror, Mirror: Bring full-length shatterproof mirrors to our space
🏋️ Solid Ground: Install impact-resistant gym flooring
✈️ New Heights: Support the recent installation of our aerial truss
Coach Fundraising Drive
Our amazing Wise Fool coaches give so much… now it’s our turn to give back!
If we raise a combined $2,000 in tribute to our coaches, they’ll be treated to a well-deserved gift. Last year, your generosity sent them to Ojo Santa Fe for a relaxing spa day, which soothed their tired muscles! ✨ We want to show them a little extra appreciation following our shift to a Traveling Circus model while we were without a home earlier this year.
Here’s how:
1️⃣ Visit the link in this post, or follow the link in our bio.
2️⃣ On the donation page, fill out the “Coach Name” form with your favorite coach.
3️⃣ Can’t pick just one? You can include multiple coaches!
