Wise Fool’s Next Act
Dear Wise Fool Community,
It is with a mixture of emotions that I share with you that Wise Fool New Mexico will be moving from our current location by January 31, 2025. This decision has been incredibly difficult, and I won’t pretend otherwise. The choice to leave this space in January instead of April will put us in a better position to continue our programming in collaboration with partner organizations, ensuring that our work remains accessible and impactful. The challenges we’ve faced—losing our building, adjusting our programs, financial hardships, and navigating a shifting landscape—have been overwhelming. Through it all, we’ve had to make tough decisions, but as circus folks, we know how to stay flexible, resourceful, and balanced—sometimes literally! By juggling challenges and lifting each other up, we’re working to safeguard Wise Fool’s future for our community. The show must go on!
While this transition may feel unsettling, it has also presented us with an opportunity to reimagine Wise Fool’s future, to step back and truly evaluate the heart of what we do. It’s given our staff, board, community members and leadership, the space to reconnect with our mission, our core values, and the energy that has always fueled Wise Fool. We’re in a moment of transformation, and I am excited to see how we can move forward—more focused, more creative, and more aligned with the community that has supported us for so long.
I am incredibly grateful for all of you—especially after your generous support during Giving Tuesday. Your continued support and dedication have shown me that we have something much bigger than a physical space and that’s what makes Wise Fool so special. We may be packing up our Siler studio, yet our community stands strong- a beloved, creative, and supportive community.
On Giving Tuesday, our community helped us raise $1,598 – which exceeded our goal of $1,500! Thanks to your support and the support shown by others on Giving Tuesday, we’ll be able to sustain Wise Fool’s future through this transition. You can still donate towards our Giving Tuesday campaign through Dec. 13.

Attending our Winter Cabaret on December 21st and 22nd! It’s a bittersweet celebration of circus arts, and your ticket will directly support our mission. Tickets go on sale today, Dec. 6!
Volunteer to help us with the move. We’ll need hands and hearts throughout January to pack up, transport, and set up in our new spaces!

This is a turning point, but it’s also a time for renewal and reconnection. I can’t express enough how grateful I am for each of you—your dedication, your energy, and your belief in Wise Fool New Mexico. Thank you for being with us on this journey. I’m excited for what the future holds, and I can’t wait to continue sharing this next chapter with you.
