Help Wise Fool survive the closure!

During this time Wise Fool needs your support. Closing our doors has had a significant strain on the well being of Wise Fool and our coaches. Please consider making a donation to fill in the gaps of programming we can't run. $10 is the equivalent of an open studio drop in, $15 is one class and $30 is an hour of studio rental - every donation helps us. Thank you so much to our whole community for your support during this time.

COVID-19 Update

Hello Wise Fool Community,

The well-being of our coaches, staff and the community that we serve is one of our highest priorities. As we have been closely monitoring the impact of COVID-19 and working hard to meet the standards of complying with the prevention of the spread of COVID-19, we have decided to cancel all studio classes and programming until April 6.

This means that our new session of studio classes will go from April 6-May 15, with a break from April 26-May 3. All passes that were bought for the session starting March 16, will be valid to use for this upcoming session.

For open trainers: While our programming will be cancelled, we’d also like to offer our open trainers time and space to explore movement in the studio! Wise Fool will be opened for training on Wednesday and Saturday from 10AM-4PM

We value the community at large and want to do our best to support the health of our students and coaches. We feel this is the most responsible thing to do. However, during this time we also need YOUR support. Closing our doors will cause a significant strain on the well-being of Wise Fool and our coaches.

Please make a donation to fill in the gaps of the programming we can’t run. Here are some ways you can help support Wise Fool financially during this unstable time:

Tickets on Sale for 2019 Circus Luminous: Chaos!

Circus Luminous 2019 is a miraculous, family-friendly extravaganza that explores the ups and downs of chaos, with acrobats, dancers, aerialists, jugglers, contortionists, a live band and more!

Tickets: $20-$45 (Kids 12 and under: $12-$27). Available at, 505.988.1234, or at The Lensic box office, 211 W. San Francisco St. in Santa Fe.

You’ll experience four competing approaches to dealing with chaos—each inspiring you to ask where chaos comes from, and how it moves, sings, laughs, and flies. One approach urges you to improve your Self. Another tries to turn you against the Other. Yet another invites you to join the Resistance. And the fourth, well, we barely understand that one ourselves. Come early and join the immersive experience! The fun begins the minute you enter the Lensic lobby, when you’ll encounter a chaos “trade show”—sponsored by Wise Fool’s (fictional) Corporate Social Responsibility Program.
Circus Luminous, Wise Fool’s annual Thanksgiving show at The Lensic, features professional artists, a youth ensemble with students from Wise Fool’s circus education programs, and musicians from Santa Fe, Albuquerque, and Las Cruces. It is co-directed by Nandita Dinesh (dramaturgy and installation), Pamela Donohoo (dance and circus choreography), and Tara Khozein (theatrical and musical direction).
