We're Taking our Puppets to D.C.
Wise Fool is pleased to announce that we are one of 15 circus companies nationwide invited to present at the Folklife Festival this July 3-10! Circus Arts are a special focus of the festival this year, along with themes of migration and cultural identity.
Wise Fool will be inviting the public to help build new puppets on-site to address these themes, as well as bringing the puppets to life in daily processions on the Mall. Read below to learn how you can be a part of Wise Fool's puppets too!
Your message can journey with us! Wise Fool wants to include your words on a giant puppet.

Help Pack our Puppets...
We are grateful to be recognized on a national level for our unique combination of circus, street arts, and social engagement. This accolade and opportunity to bring a taste of New Mexico's rich arts culture to the world is very important to us.
The Smithsonian has underwritten the majority of costs for Wise Fool's participation. However, there are significant expenses that Wise Fool still needs to cover. Will you support this journey with a special contribution? Click on the button above to support.
